Odosobnienie to czas na pogłębianie kontaktu ze swoim wnętrzem oraz budowania harmonii z otoczeniem poprzez wspólną praktykę. Utrzymywanie ciszy / milczenia jest wielkim darem jaki możemy dać sobie oraz pozostałym uczestnikom odosobnienia.
Drugi tydzień Kyol Che jest częścią trzytygodniowego odosobnienia odbywającego się w świątyni Wu Bong Sa oraz trzymiesięcznego europejskiego programu letnich odosobnień.

You are cordially invited to the second week of the Kyol Che 2023 summer retreat in Poland, where Zen master Gu Ja will teach. Gu Ja Soen Sa Nim earned a master’s degree in philosophy and sinology from the Free University of Berlin. She studied yoga and meditation in India. Zen master Gu Ja received Inka in 2008 from Zen master Wu Bong and Dharma transmission in April 2017 from Zen master Bon Shim. She is the guiding teacher of a zen center in Berlin. Zen master Gu Ja met Zen master Seung Sahn in 1989 in Warsaw, Poland, and in 1990 she founded the Berlin Zen Center with her Zen master husband Ji Kwang. Soon after, the Kwan Um Zen School was established in Germany. She lives with her family near Berlin and works as a researcher in East Asia-related studies. Zen master Gu Ja is the abbess of the Kwan Um Zen School in Germany.
The retreat is open to anyone who wants to begin or continue the practice of meditation rooted in the Korean sŏn Buddhist tradition and centered around the teachings of Zen Master Seung Sahn DSSN, founder of the Kwan Um School.
Daily retreat program:
– morning bowing practice
– chanting practice (morning and evening)
– Zen work practice (60 min)
– 4 blocks of zen meditation (rounds of 30 / 45 min)
– walking practice / kinhin – walking in the forest and in between rounds of zen meditation
– Formal vegetarian meals
and time for rest and sleep.
There will be two individual talks with the teacher during the weekly session.
