Bon Shim SSN (Soen Sa Nim – Czcigodny Mistrz Zen) – Aleksandra Porter – została uczniem Dae Soen Sa Nima od czasu jego pierwszej wizyty w Polsce w 1978 roku. Była jednym z członków założycieli polskiej Szkoły Zen Kwan Um oraz Krakowskiego Ośrodka Zen. Pełniła funkcję opata Głównej Świątyni oraz Szkoły Zen Kwan Um w Polsce. W 1992 r. otrzymała “inka” (pozwolenie na samodzielne nauczanie) od DSSN, a następnie przeszła trening na nauczyciela zen w Polsce i USA. W 2006 r. otrzymała przekaz Dharmy od Wu Bonga SSN i przyjęła nowe imię – Bon Shim – Pierwotny Umysł. Jest nauczycielem prowadzącym wielu ośrodków i grup zen, podróżuje i naucza w całej Europie. Na stałe mieszka w Głównej Świątyni w Falenicy.

Odosobnienie to czas na pogłębianie kontaktu ze swoim wnętrzem oraz budowania harmonii z otoczeniem poprzez wspólną praktykę. Utrzymywanie ciszy / milczenia jest wielkim darem jaki możemy dać sobie oraz pozostałym uczestnikom odosobnienia.
Drugi tydzień Kyol Che jest częścią trzytygodniowego odosobnienia odbywającego się w świątyni Wu Bong Sa oraz trzymiesięcznego europejskiego programu letnich odosobnień.

You are cordially invited to the first week of the Kyol Che 2023 summer retreat in Poland, where Zen master Bon Shim will teach.
Bon Shim SSN (Soen Sa Nim – Venerable Zen Master) – Aleksandra Porter – has been a student of Dae Soen Sa Nim since his first visit to Poland in 1978. She was one of the founding members of the Kwan Um School of Zen in Poland and the Krakow Zen Centre. She served as the abbot of the Main Temple and Kwan Um Zen School in Poland. In 1992 she received an “inka” (permission to teach independently) from DSSN, and then received Zen teacher training in Poland and the USA. In 2006 she received the Dharma transmission from Wu Bong SSN and adopted a new name – Bon Shim – the Primordial Mind. She is a guiding teacher of many Zen centers and groups, traveling and teaching throughout Europe. She lives permanently in the Main Temple in Falenica.
The retreat is open to anyone who wants to begin or continue the practice of meditation rooted in the Korean sŏn Buddhist tradition and centered around the teachings of Zen Master Seung Sahn DSSN, founder of the Kwan Um School.
Daily retreat program:
– morning bowing practice
– chanting practice (morning and evening)
– Zen work practice (60 min)
– 4 blocks of zen meditation (rounds of 30 / 45 min)
– walking practice / kinhin – walking in the forest and in between rounds of zen meditation
– Formal vegetarian meals
and time for rest and sleep.
There will be two individual talks with the teacher during the weekly session.
